On July 13th Clownspocket.com proudly presents an evening of the finest
professional comedians to entertain young and old alike at The Copt Hill.
Bringing to you:
The grinning idiot himself, JOHN SMITH. One of the finest comic talents in the UK with a dark, original, punchy and quality packed act.
DAVID HADINGHAM. With over 15 years of experience and various media appearances David is a notorious & very highly regarded talent that performs all over the country at some of the most prestigious venues. He has an intense, anecdotal set with some of the best hand crafted gags in the business.
LOST VOICE GUY. A bright new star in comedy Lost Voice Guy lost his voice to cerebral palsy but has became an instant hit all over the country communicating his unique gags through his Ipad. Taking a break from gigs across the country he’s returning to Sunderland for this special event.

Our Third Annual Cask Ale Festival
went down a storm over the Bank
Holiday weekend.
The comments we received on the
selection of ales and ciders on offer
were very positive, with the fastest
selling ale being Old Hooky from
the Hook Norton Brewery, selling
out in less than a day.
We had several local ales from
Maxim Brewery and Temptation
Brewery, which were also very well
received.
The Thursday saw Mark Anderson
from Maxim Brewery opening the
festival with a Meet The Brewer
evening.
The party got into full swing on the
Friday with one of our well loved
party nights.
Throughout the weekend there
was a range of entertainment
including live music and a barbecue
which kept everyone entertained
and energy levels up.
The festival was rounded off by
Andy Whitehead from Timothy
Taylor Brewery with another Meet
The Brewer evening, where their
Ram Tam and Landlord beers
proved very popular.
We would like to sincerely thank
everyone involved in the setup and
running of the festival and to our
fantastic customers who came along
and made the event another
success. Here’s to next year, cheers!
