Breaking News…  Fusion Steaks

 

Fusion in cookery terms means bringing together a variety of flavours. Our steaks are marinating for at least 36 hours in a vacuum, this is to create an intense flavour without the need for a heavy sauce making this a healthy option. This month Trevor is bringing you 10 oz. Sirloin Steaks with a choice of: – Fusion 1- Smoky garlic, black pepper and rosemary or

Fusion 2 – A Caribbean jerk, this is a combination of hot, sweet and sour using ginger, chillies, cinnamon and limes.

The steaks are pan fried to your liking and served with chips, peas and garni. Trevor’s offer this month is to let you have these for the same price as our 8 oz. Sirloin steaks i.e. £14.95 and on a Wednesday (Steak Night) for £9.95.

King Prawn and Monkfish Kebabs

 

Two kebabs of Monkfish, Scallops and King Prawns skewered with smoked garlic, onions, peppers, sun blushed tomatoes, limes and lemons char grilled and suspended over a plate of risotto prepared with mushrooms, wine, cream, chilli’s and coriander. The presentation of this dish is outstanding allowing the juices from the fish and vegetables to further flavour the risotto.

A taste of America has arrived in our restaurant with our new dish “Grandma’s Heaven”

I originate from Poole in Dorset from fishing and boating stock. During the Second World War my Grand Mother cooked for the US Forces stationed nearby. Their favourites were Caesar Salad, Cajun Chicken and fried onion rings. Grandma decided to combine all these favourites with a few traditional local bits and pieces such as small portions of fried fish and home made chips. Our new dish re-creates this classic from the 1930 -1940’s.
